Ollie Receives Extension

Connecticut coach Kevin Ollie and athletic director Warde Manuel will attend a press conference Saturday at the XL Center prior to the game against Washington. There are reports that Ollie will receive a five-year extension but UConn has confirmed nothing at this point.

Kevin Ollie, who replaced Hall of Fame coach Jim Calhoun when Calhoun retired in September, will be given a contract extension and reports say that extension will be for five years.

Ollie was originally hired to a seven-month deal and has been under evaluation by AD Warde Manuel. There had been reports that Manuel was waiting to see the academic results from the first semester.

UConn takes a 9-2 record into tonight's game against Washington of the Pac-12.
