"I felt better in the fourth quarter," Costner said. "It's hard jumping in like that after missing the first half.
Costner's first part of the day he spent with Jim Calhoun and the Connecticut staff. "I really enjoyed the trip and the visit to the campus," Costner said. "They have a program that is defined by success. That's important to me."
Costner said there are other factors that are impressive about the Connecticut program. "They have had a lot of players that have gone on to the NBA," he said. "They always have players going there and they always have a chance to win."
Brandon said he is going to take his time with a decision. But the Connecticut program helped themselves in this recruiting race after Costner's visit. "There's a lot to like about Connecticut," he said.
