Craig Austrie Has Offer

One of the best players in the state of Connecticut continues to receive high marks for his play this spring

Craig Austrie, a 6-foot-1, 170-pound combo guard from Trinity Catholic High School in Stamford, Connecticut, is a player who may open some eyes this spring and summer.

A hard-nosed on-the-ball defender with solid scoring tools, Austrie has received interest from George Mason, Connecticut, Marquette, and UMass. George Mason has offered.

Austrie will travel with the Stamford Express (formerly Connecticut Flame) on the AAU circuit. Stops on his itinerary this spring include the Bob Gibbons Tournament of Champions this month, followed by the Rumble in the Bronx at Fordham University in June. Craig will participate in the Nike All-America Camp in Indianapolis in July.

Austrie plays for one of the top high school programs in the state of Connecticut at Trinity Catholic alongside Duke-bound Dave McClure.

Craig will take the SAT for the first time in June.
