Green Will Take Unofficial Visit Soon

One of the best swingman in the class of 2005 has started setting up his unofficial visits

Danny Green, a 6-foot-5, 180-pound guard/forward from St. Mary's High School in Manhasset, New York, has already told the Insiders Report previously that he wanted to take several unofficial visits before the July summer AAU season began. "I want to do as many as I can so I have a good idea about each school on my list," Green said, after his team won a game at IS8. "I like all my schools on my list. I don't have a leader."

Green is likely to take an unofficial visit to St. John's in the next couple of days. Green has indicated it's likely his visit would be to the Queens campus tomorrow.

St. John's is one school that has listed Green as a high priority. But there are many other schools that feel the same way about Green's skills. And Connecticut is a school that wants to recruit Green hard. Green stated that he is interested in the National Champions and has already taken a campus trip to Storrs.

Green has already stated to the Insiders Report that his trip to Connecticut was successful and very positive. "They get players to the NBA and they win," Green said. "Those are two very important things for me when considering my choices.

Villanova, St. John's, North Carolina State, Rhode Island, Louisville, Florida, Connecticut, Vanderbilt, and Colgate were the schools that Green mentioned he was interested in most.

Danny has the skills and the physical capabilities to play three to four different positions. He handles the ball well in transition, can finish on the wing, and has the perimeter skills to play either guard position.
