UCONN Drops Out With NYC Forward

Connecticut made a move recently with a big name New York City recruit

Theo Davis, a lanky 6-10, 215-pound C/PF from Bayside (NY) Benjamin Cardozo High School, still has a big list is going to take his time making his decision but has seen the University of Connecticut drop out of his recruiting process.

Texas, Syracuse, Georgia Tech, Seton Hall, Georgetown, St. John's, Pittsburgh, UCLA, Florida, and Miami (FL) are considered the top schools in the recruiting process.

Cardozo head coach Ron Naclerio has said he probably expects Theo Davis to play somewhere near New York. But Naclerio stopped short in naming a leader in Davis' recruiting process.

The Connecticut program is likely to concentrate on other big men such as Vernon Goodridge and John Garcia. We will keep you posted on these two players as they compete in this weekend's Rumble in the Bronx to be held at Fordham University.
