Green spent most of his day at the beautiful facility of Hofstra University. His skills were utilized tonight by his high school team -- St. Mary's instead of his AAU team, which was competing at the Rumble in the Bronx tonight.
Green's team was successful once but failed in its latter match. St. Mary's features several division one players, including Green. The high major athlete scored 16 points in his first game tonight against Uniondale. However, St. Mary's finished the evening on a sour note when they were dropped by a deep, young, and very talented Christ The King High School.
Green, who is being recruited by several high major programs, recently took a visit to St. John's University. "I took it on Thursday night," Green said this evening. "It was a great trip.
"I learned a lot about the school and the program. I got to meet the coaches. I got to hear about the new facilities that will be going in there. So it was a great trip."
Green has also expressed a desire to visit Connecticut as well. He also lists North Carolina State, Georgetown, Virginia, Pittsburgh, and Florida. "I am going to make my decision in the fall," Green stated. "I want to take some official visits before I decide. But I will try to take some unofficial visits too."
Green, who will play again at the Team Hofstra camp tomorrow morning, may also join the New York Panthers later in the day to compete at the Rumble in the Bronx at Fordham University.
