"I had a good time here," Miles said after his team won. "It was very competitive. It was a good chance also to work on my game."
Miles scored 23 points in the Silver Medal tournament final. He hit six three-pointers, most from NBA range. His smooth-shooting stroke gave the fans a view of perhaps a McDonald's All American. Because of his terrific offensive skills, Miles has many high major offers.
"Connecticut, Texas, Kansas, Oklahoma, North Carolina, Georgia Tech, Illinois, and Duke are the schools I am hearing from the most," Miles said. "Everyone has offered me except Duke. I don't know what level interest they have in me right now."
Miles said he would love to play with his teammate Kevin Rogers, a talented, though inside forward who plays for the same Team Texas AAU program. "I think most of the schools are recruiting us both," Miles said.
Connecticut has offered both Rogers and Miles, according to the players. "They are the National Champions," Miles said. "They have a good winning tradition." Miles said he plans on making a decision in the Fall. "I want to take some visits before I make a decision," he said. "I don't have a leader right now. I have to see the schools before I make a decision."
