Biggs, who resides in New York State, competes at Don Bosco Prep of New Jersey. He is a likely serious candidate for the McDonald's All American game for several reasons -- a. his frame -- 6-foot-7 and 250 pounds. b. his soft touch from the outside making him a double offensive threat. c. his desire to win all the time.
Biggs, who is looking to be surrounded by other good players on the college level, has plenty of high major interest. Connecticut, Duke, Maryland, Pittsburgh, Villanova, and Virginia round out Biggs' short list.
However, that hasn't stopped some from still trying. A source close to Biggs told us that Syracuse has made an effort to be involved. Whether the Orange can wiggle into the race remains to be seen. Biggs and his family have done an excellent job in keeping his recruiting process structured and sane.
Tyrell has stated he plans on competing at the Reebok camp this week. If Biggs has a big summer, it no doubt will make it easier for him to land a spot on the 2005 McDonald's All American team. This site will have updates from the Reebok camp on Biggs and how he competes against the other great players on the high school level.
