Biggs Keeps List Short

First day struggles for UCONN prospect Tyrell Biggs

Tyrell Biggs is a good enough player that he can overcome any bad day. When you play as many games and compete on as many days as these high school athletes, sooner or later every great player will come up short sometimes.

For Biggs, a 6-foot-7 and 250-pound 2005 prospect, yesterday was that day. While the Connecticut staff and other coaches recruiting Biggs looked on, Tyrell could not get his shot to fall.

This won't stop any high major program from recruiting him. Tyrell is a good enough player to overcome one below average shooting day. Today could be that day as Biggs competes in sessions three and four at the Reebok ABCD camp in Teaneck, New Jersey.

After coming off some incredible performances at the AND1 high school tournament, seemed out of sync. But that won't stop the staffs of Duke, Maryland, Connecticut, Pittsburgh, Virginia, and Villanova to continue evaluating the big man from New York State.

The only new "news" regarding Biggs and his recruiting process is that perhaps Miami of Florida might be able to make a serious run at Tyrell. Syracuse has tried in recent weeks as well.
