UCONN 2005 Prospect Shines Tonight

UCONN has Tyrell Biggs on their recruiting shopping list

It was only a matter of time before Tyrell Biggs recovered from a first day of struggles at the Reebok ABCD camp in Teaneck, New Jersey. Biggs, rated the second best player from New York State by the Insiders Report, scored 15 points and grabbed six rebounds in the night session at the camp.

Biggs was very active on both ends of the court and showed why he is a legitimate candidate for the McDonald's All American game. Three of the last four games Biggs has scored 14, 15, and 15 points. Tyrell seems to have recovered nicely from the first day struggles.

Biggs, 6-7 and 250 pounds from Don Bosco Prep in New Jersey, seemed pleased after the session with his effort. He walked around with a big grin on his face while shaking hands with his friends and relatives.

Duke, Maryland, Connecticut, Pittsburgh, Virginia, Villanova, Syracuse, and Miami have been watching Biggs almost every game here at the Rothman Center on the campus of FDU. Biggs has stated that Connecticut, Duke, Maryland, Pittsburgh, Virginia, and Villanova are his top schools.

"I want to take some visits in the Fall before I decide," Biggs said. "I don't know where but I do want to see some of the schools first."
