UConn Picked For Fifth In Preseason Poll

The UConn Huskies have been picked to finish in fifth place in their first season of Big East Conference competition, the league office announced on Tuesday.

Media representatives who cover the league on a regular basis participated in this poll.

Connecticut received 100 votes, jusy nine points shy of third place Pitt. (The poll on UConn's website currently predicts the Huskies will finish third.) WVU has been picked to win the title.
