Jason Smith: Kansas & Penn State Offered Tonight

Jeff Adrien has more offers on the table

Brewster Academy head coach Jason Smith said his future star player, Jeff Adrien, a 6-foot-6 forward, was offered tonight by Kansas and Penn State. "They were calling him after I spoke to the schools," Smith said. "So he has several offers."

Adrien, an inside athlete who helped BABC this summer with his inside skills, told the Insiders Report this afternoon that he might take a visit soon to Connecticut. "It's a possibility," he said. "I have three visits left from my senior year that I haven't used. But I am so close to the school that I could even take the visit this weekend." Adrien, who also has numerous other offers, said he is also interested in visiting Pittsburgh. "I have been offered by Pittsburgh," said Adrien. "I will take visits to the schools I have been offered by." Miami, Arizona, Villanova, Boston College, and Iowa State have also offered while Georgia and Providence are also interested. But Adrien has given an indication he might not want to play on the West Coast.

"I won't take a visit to a school that hasn't offered me," Adrien said. "It doesn't make much sense to do that." Adrien added: "I will sit down with my high school coach and talk about what schools I want to visit or whether to narrow the list down. I would like to do that soon, maybe in the next week."
