Adrien: UCONN Visit Went Well

Jeff Adrien, a 6-foot-6 forward from Massachusetts, finished up his trip to Connecticut this past weekend

Jeff Adrien, a 6-foot-6 combo forward from Brewster Academy in New Hampshire, told the Insiders Report he had a good trip to the University of Connecticut this weekend. "I know the coaches so it was good to see them," he said. "It went pretty good. I also had a chance to go to their alumni game and watch their past players play."

Adrien, who has offers from his top three schools of Connecticut, Pittsburgh, and Kansas, indicated he will take his next official visit on Monday. "I'm going to Pittsburgh Monday," he said. "Then I come back on Wednesday."

Kansas is also still being considered in the recruiting process. "If necessary, I will take a visit there," he stated. "Right now I will probably make up my mind between Connecticut and Pittsburgh."

Adrien, who had an outstanding summer, is a tough warrior inside the paint. He battles for loose balls, blocks shots, and is a very good defender. It's because of these reasons such top programs like Kansas, Pittsburgh, and Connecticut have offered him a free ride.

"It's going to be a tough decision," he said. "They are all great schools and they win. I know I can help all of them."
