Green Looking To Set Up UCONN Visit

Danny Green continues to be part of the recruiting target list for the UCONN program

Danny Green, a 6-foot-5 guard/forward from St. Mary's High School in Manhasset, New York, is still on the radar screen for the Connecticut basketball program. Though Green will join friends Levance Fields and John Garcia on a trip to St. John's tomorrow, his dad says his son is still interested in having Connecticut come in for an in home visit.

"St. John's is also coming in too in early September (for an in home visit," Green Sr. said. "Connecticut is being set up today and Georgia Tech and North Carolina State are interested too."

Connecticut is also involved with Marcus Johnson, Jeff Adrien, and Marcus Williams. Adrien could have a decision in the next 24 hours between Pittsburgh and Connecticut.

"Danny has already been invited to Midnight Madness to North Carolina," Danny, Sr. said. "So I plan on going with him on that trip."

In addition, Green will visit Pittsburgh on September 16th. "Pittsburgh is also coming in for an in home visit in early September," Green, Sr. said. Connecticut could press harder on Green depending upon what happens with other targets. But the National Champs appear to be very serious in trying to arrange an in home visit and even an official visit.
