Adrien Close To A Decision

Jeff Adrien is close to making a decision between Connecticut and Pittsburgh

Jeff Adrien, a 6-foot-6 forward from Brewster Academy in New Hampshire, is close to making a decision between Pittsburgh and Connecticut. "The visit to Pittsburgh was good," Adrien said. "The campus is nice. The coaches are nice. I had a good time there."

But was it good enough to overcome the Connecticut lead? "I don't know," he said. "I am still thinking about it. It's a tough decision. But I expect to have one soon."

The decision could perhaps even come tonight. Adrien, who has also considered Kansas in his recruiting process, said he is done with trips. "I don't plan on taking any more trips," Adrien said. "I just plan on thinking about Pittsburgh and Connecticut more and then making a decision."

Adrien has also visited Connecticut officially. He had a terrific summer and landed several scholarship offers after his AAU season was over. Adrien is a warrior inside and has been making progress with his individual game along the perimeter. For now, most schools see Adrien as a four man, and perhaps making progress to become a three down the road.
