Big Man's Next Stop: Storrs, Connecticut

John Garcia now has his eyes set on the campus of Connecticut

He has to be a bit tired after returning from unofficial visits to Seton Hall and Pittsburgh. But John Garcia, a 6-foot-9 center/power forward from Brentwood High School in New York, is ready to visit Storrs, Connecticut next.

Garcia recently completed trips unofficially to Seton Hall and Pittsburgh. Garcia praised both trips, pointing out that he was very comfortable with Seton Hall head coach Louis Orr. He also said his Pittsburgh visit went well. Garcia said the facilities at Pittsburgh were "incredible."

The Connecticut program also has big man Andrew Bynum rolling into town on Saturday. Duke recently landed Eric Boateng, ending the need to recruit Bynum. So the process for Bynum has become more clear too.

For Garcia, his picture is a little more muddled after taking visits. "I plan on visiting Connecticut this weekend, probably Sunday," he stated.

Garcia also stated he plans on visiting Villanova early next week. He isn't sure when he might make a decision.

So this weekend could determine how good UCONN's chances will be with both Bynum and Garcia.
