Marcus said Louisville certainly helped its chances with him. "I really don't have a leader," he said. "I know people think of Syracuse as my leader. And I grew up thinking they were my dream school. But I want to take all of my visits before I decide."
Johnson said his next trip will be to the University of Connecticut. "I am looking forward to the visit," Johnson stated. "I like the coaches there too. I like the style of play in how their forwards can score in their offense. And they have won a lot."
Marcus said he will likely visit Syracuse in October. "It will be some weekend in October," Johnson said. "I have always liked Syracuse, the coaches, and the way they play."
When asked if he was close to a commitment anytime during his recruiting process, he stated: "Yes. But I want to take all of my visits before I decide. I have almost committed to every school on my list. But I want to finish up my trips and see the other schools on my visit."
