UCONN Backs Away From Goodridge

Brooklyn big man Vernon Goodridge stated he will likely visit at least four schools

Connecticut is making it very clear that Andrew Bynum is their top choice to play the pivot position in the future for the National Champions. Over the past 24 hours, UCONN backed away from Vernon Goodridge, a 6-foot-9 center/power forward from Brooklyn, New York.

However, Goodridge did confirm that he will likely visit Illinois, Georgetown, Seton Hall, and Pittsburgh.

Connecticut did not take an in home visit with Goodridge as expected. Mississippi State and Florida State have also been mentioned previously by Goodridge as being schools of interest.

Bynum will be on the Connecticut campus October 22nd. He will turn 17-years old in late October and has an incredible amount of upside to his game.
