Justin Evanovich's Younger Brother At Prep School

Here's news on UConn former walk-on Justin Evanovich's younger brother, a Storrs, Conn. native, who is taking an extra year at South Kent Prep.

Mike Evanovich, a 6-foot-8 215 pound face-up power forward from South Kent Prep in Connecticut, has drawn interest from a wide variety of Division I programs, and will be a late signee this spring.

Evanovich, a Connecticut native who graduated from E.O. Smith High School in Storrs, has heard from American, Lehigh, New Hampshire, Furman, Iowa State, Wagner, Rice, and South Florida. American, Lehigh, and New Hampshire have offered.

"I'm just waiting to see what happens this spring," said Evanovich. "I'm probably going to take some visits after the school year."

Evanovich boasts a great stroke off the catch, and is adept at using screens to free himself up. He's something of a specialist on a team with a lot of athletes.

Evanovich was a standout for Wayne Simone's Connecticut Select AAU team in the past.

Mike's brother Justin Evanovich was a walk-on at UConn.

Evanovich carries around a 3.0 GPA, and has scored 1200 on the SAT.
