Jeremiah Hunter Scheduling Visits

Jeremiha Hunter, a standout linebacker from Harrisburg, Pa., spoke to Scout.com recently about his unofficial trip to Penn State and his upcoming plans.

"I had a lot of fun, it was a good trip," the linebacker said. "The crowd was so big and they were crazy there. The only bad thing was the weather."

The Scout.com four-star prospect was scheduled for an official visit to Iowa over the weekend and Tennessee (10/29). Do the Huskies have a shot at a visit?

"I'm thinking about going to Florida and maybe Georgia," he said. "Right now it would be between Connecticut, Penn State and Ohio State for the final one."

In the past, Hunter has said that while he is interested in Penn State, he may not spend an official visit there because it is so close to home and he has made the trip to Happy Valley so many times.

Connecticut is often mentioned as one of Hunter's favorites, so we decided to find out what it is about the Huskies that Hunter likes.

"My cousin William Beatty goes there and he tells me a lot about them," he said. "They have recruited me longer then just about anyone else.'

Hunter is enjoying his senior year at his new school after transferring from Manheim Central prior to the start of the season.

"There's a big difference between the two," he said. "I'm having fun and getting some great coaching."

The No. 19 rated linebacker in the nation is also enjoying the chance to play beside his brother, Harrisburg junior linebacker Xzavier Hunter.

"He should've been playing beside me last year," he said. "It's nice playing with him. He looks up to me so you try and set a good example."
