A number of recruits are mentioning the huskies in a very positive light nowadays. It seems like UConn and their new facilities could vault the into the upper eschelon of the conference in the near Future.

Quarterback Andrew Daley of Eastern High School in Voorhees, N.J., is still awaiting his first offer, but he has been hearing from a number of schools.

"Right now, I'm hearing from Rutgers, Penn State, UConn, South Florida and NC State," Daley said. "Rutgers sounded like they were going to offer, but I haven't heard from them in a while. Coach Trestman from NC State told me they were looking at a few QB's and I was one of them."

Daley, 6-foot-3 and 235 pounds, Has taken unofficial visits to Rutgers and UConn.

Rutgers: "I went up there for a junior day a while ago. I liked a lot, but I have been there a lot so it really wasn't anything new."

UConn: "I went there for their spring game, it was real nice. They're my No. 1 now. The coaches treated me very well. The campus is like its own little city. The people there are very nice. The stadium is beautiful. I liked the offense, they throw a lot. The QB's looked really good, even though the offense only scored once."

Daley will be participating in the Scout.Com All-American Combine at Rutgers University on Sunday.
