Anthony Smith Commits to UNLV

UNLV 2017 Class Taking Shape

Anthony Smith became the 2nd player to join Marvin Menzies 2017 recruiting class today. Smith, a 6'7 forward from Feather River Community College is averaging an impressive 22.3 ppg and 8.4 rpg. Making those numbers even more impressive is the fact Anthony never played prep hoops. He played a little bit of AAU ball, but his first real competitive basketball came at the Juco level.

Smith is a tremendous leaper and athlete. He has the ability to be a force on the fastbreak where he runs the court like a gazelle and can finish like Blake Griffin. Smith is finishing up his sophomore season and he will have 2 years of eligibility remaining once he suits up for the Rebels this November.
