Dalron Johnson led the Rebels with 19 points while Lou Kelly and Vince Booker chipped in with 13 and 10 respectively.

UNLV slowly pulled out to a 27-22 lead at the intermission before building the lead to as much as 15 points in the second half. The closest the Falcons got was within 8 points with two minutes left, but the Rebels were able to seal the game by converting 6-7 free throws down the stretch.

The Rebels (8-5, 1-1 MWC) next face the Utah Utes in Salt Lake City, UT Saturday afternoon.
