After watching the interviews of some of the Offensive linemen, I was happy to hear some things that are encouraging to my own beliefs, although go against some of the rumors we've been hearing.
Chuma at LT and Talamaivo at RG are the givens.
The question of Nico/Toa seemed to get some clarity in their interviews. Toa said he prefers the inside and thinks he's more suited to the inside and I think he ends up at LG. As the shortest of linemen (listed 6'3 vs Brown/Roy both at 6'5) I think it's best he stays inside. Nico also clarified that the move to tackle is not a priority and that he is likely staying at center. I think he excelled at center and was a better snapper than Toa. With neither of them sounding very likely to move to the outside as has been often suggested, that would mean the real battle is nothing so secret and is actually the battle we've been seeing all along between Roy and Brown with Clayton slightly behind. Nothing against Brown, but I'm pulling for Roy. After watching him give an interview, it's hard not to want him to succeed. He comes off as a great kid. At the end of the day though, best man gets the job.
FOr all the "musical chairs" on the OL, I have a feeling it's going to look an awful lot like we all expected before all the mixing and matching.
