I think it's likely that Falo will redshirt and will have no impact in 2017 unless a couple of guys ahead of him get injured. And feels good being able to say that now that the Trojans are pretty loaded at most positions. It's been quite awhile since those days.
With Imatorbhebhe, Petite, and Angeline already slotted to play at this position, Falo will have to be all world in order to escape a red-shirt.
With all due respect, Falo looks like to have the most natural ability out of all our tight ends. I think he is a sleeper in this class and i would not be surprised if he surpasses Petit and Angeline.
But the obvious choice is Marlon. He is going to have to perform for us.
Yes, it's possible that Falo moves up to second string ahead of Petitte and Angeline, but he would still be sitting at second string. How much impact can a second stringer have? Plus, we don't know if he can block? He probably needs to bulk up and a year to do that would help. Then there's the play book. To have any expectations of getting PT, he'll need to learn fast. That's not easy and a lot of Freshman struggle in this regard. I do agree that if everything we are hearing about Marlon T is correct, then he would be the obvious choice to be the biggest impact player.
