Like Oprah's "Favorite Things," all summer long we'll look at the USC Trojans' Favorite Things

Antwaun Woods, defensive lineman, incoming freshman: "Warren Saap because he's just great and plays my position. Tim Tebow because his inspiration and dedication to football.

Kyle Prater, wide receiver, redshirt freshman: "Randy Moss because I pattern my game after him."

Drew McAllister, safety, redshirt junior: "Ronnie Lott. No question. Best defensive back of all time. Hardest hitter, played the ball in the air and was one of the greatest competitors ever."

Marcus Martin, offensive lineman, incoming freshman:" Anthony Munoz, he was an aggressive, tenacious, big bodied-individual who I aspire to be like. During his time he was known for getting after it."

Cyrus Hobbi, offensive lineman, incoming freshman: "John Randall from the Minnesota Vikings because he was an undersized, war painted, maniac on the field and cool and collected off of it."

Curtis McNeal, runningback, redshirt junior: "Brett Favre. He was a true competitor. And Floyd Mayweather Jr. because there's nothing wrong with being confident and cocky."

Devon Kennard, defensive end, junior: "Michael Jordan because he's the most dominate player I've ever watched and I think he played the game the right way and gave it everything he had."

Greg Townsend Jr., defensive end, incoming freshman: Michael Jordan.

Khaled Holmes, redshirt junior, offensive lineman: "Michael Jordan because he is the only undisputed greatest player in his or her sport."

Jesse Scroggins, quarterback, redshirt freshman: LeBron James.

Marshall Jones, safety, redshirt senior: "Ed Reed because I feel that the way he plays is similar to the way I play."

Brice Butler, wide receiver, redshirt junior: "My pops, Bobby Butler, played 12 years in the league he pretty much did everything that I want to do. He balled at the highest level. He played before free agency, he was going through the sport when it was a lot tougher to stay around."

Brandon Carswell, wide receiver, senior: "Emmitt Smith. Everybody doesn't really like him but he's the best."

Lamar Dawson, linebacker, incoming freshman: "LeBron James. He's just so big and so good at basketball and just good at everything."

Tre Madden, linebacker, incoming freshman: "George St Pierre, he's a UFC fighter. He's a machine and he trains like one."

Hayes Pullard, linebacker, redshirt freshman: Kobe, Ray Lewis

Kevin Greene, defensive end, redshirt sophomore: "Lance Armstrong, because of everything he's overcome. Not too many guys can say they've bounced back from cancer and win multiple championships."

Anthony Brown, cornerback, redshirt freshman: "Darelle Revis, he's a beast. He plays my position and he's the best corner in the NFL and his technique is on point. I'm always watching him."

Dion Bailey, linebacker, redshirt freshman: "Deion Sanders-- well I have a favorite athlete in all sports. But football it's Deion sanders. First of all, his name is Deion. And he was always exciting to watch and I modeled myself after him in Pop Warner. I wore the number 21 back then."

Victor Blackwell, wide receiver, incoming freshman: OchoCinco and Randy Moss.

Armond Armstead, senior, defensive tackle: "Michael Jordan probably of all time, but LeBron James right now." Top Stories
