Trojan Favorites: Favorite Song

Like Oprah's "favorite things," all summer long SCPlaybook will provide you various favorites of your USC Trojans.

This time SCPlaybook asked the Trojans "what is your favorite song and why?" (and if the player couldn't come up with a song, he listed his favorite artist).

Antwaun Woods, defensive tackle, freshman: Wacka Flacka's "Hard in the Paint" because it gets me hype, and ‘I go hard in the paint.'

Ross Cumming, linebacker, senior: Eminem's "Till' I Collapse" because I've listened to it as I've walked down the Coliseum steps onto the field during every Trojan Walk since my freshmen year. I just like the message of the title of the song. I'm going to go as hard as possible until I can't any longer.

Kyle Prater, wide receiver, redshirt freshman: Big sean's "I do it". It's motivation.

Hunter Simmons, fullback, redshirt sophomore: Calvin Harris' "Awooga." It's my favorite song because every time I hear it, it gets me jacked up and ready to go--no matter how I am feeling or what I am doing.

Brandon Carswell, wide receiver, redshirt senior: Cank's "Please Don't Go."

Lamar Dawson, linebacker, freshman: The artist Wiz Khalifa, because just has a different flow than everyone else.

Hayes Pullard, linebacker, redshirt freshman: Lil Wayne's "We Be Steady Mobbin.'" It speaks about how I play and how a team should be.

Kevin Greene, defensive end, redshirt sophomore: Jay-Z's "Imaginary Player."

Anthony Brown, cornerback, redshirt freshman: Fred Hammond's "No Weapon." If I'm having a hard time I just put the song on and it releases everything.

George Uko, defensive tackle, redshirt freshman: Drake's "Dreams Money Can Buy" and Wiz Khalifa's "Top Floor" because I'm bumping that right now. I love the rhythm.

Anthony Sarao, linebacker, freshman: Meek Mill's "I'm Not a Star."

Armond Armstead, defensive tackle, senior: The Temptations' "Just my Imagination."

Dion Bailey, linebacker, redshirt freshman: Drake's "Closer To My Dreams."

Victor Blackwell, wide receiver, freshman: Juicy J's "Who the Neighbors."

Da'John Harris, defensive tackle, redshirt senior: Boys to Men's "Mama."

Luke Freeman, linebacker, redshirt sophomore: Macklemore's ""The Town" because it's all about how the artist got started up in Seattle and the message behind the song is great!.

Brice Butler, wide receiver, redshirt junior: Tupac's "Changes" because he was talking about tons of stuff that was hurting us as a nation, stuff then but that same stuff is really hurting us now and it still hasn't changed.

Emon Saee, quarterback, redshirt junior: Maino's "All the Above" and Drake's "Forever." Those two songs are on my gameday playlists and what I listen to every morning before my day starts. They're a source of motivation to work hard and get better everyday.

Tre Madden, linebacker, freshman: Techn9ne's "World Wide Choppers" because they're fast rappers and just really good. Top Stories
