Rachal- "SC, UNLV, Oklahoma, Oregon, Washington, and Fresno State probably."
WeAreSC- Any leaders out of that group?
WeAreSC- Do you have any offers yet?
Rachal- "Not yet, but they're coming."
WeAreSC- Have you gotten any calls in the last week or so since the May evaluation period started?
Rachal- "Yeah, SC and Washington called."
WeAreSC- Who did you talk to from USC and how did it go?
Rachal- "Pete Carroll, Tim Davis, Ed Orgeron, and Coach Burns. It went pretty cool. They're interested."
WeAreSC- What are you going to be looking for in the school you choose?
Rachal- "What's going to be there for me after I'm done with football. I want to go to a winning program, where I can get better, and where I fit in."
WeAreSC- Is distance from home something that you're looking at?
Rachal- "It doesn't matter to me. I'd prefer to stay home, but if USC doesn't offer me then I have to leave."
WeAreSC- Where on the line do the schools seem to be recruiting you to play at?
Rachal- "Offensive guard and offensive tackle."
WeAreSC- You mentioned that USC is your leader. What do you like about them?
Rachal- "The tradition to win and their football program. I like the campus, the surroundings, the people who go there, the football players, the coaches, everything."
WeAreSC- What are your thoughts on Coach Davis? Rachal- "He's pretty cool. He's real. He'll tell you straight up what he's about and what he looks for. He's not going to say something to make you feel like you're doing the right thing if you're not."
WeAreSC- Have you been to any games at the Coliseum?
Rachal- "Yeah, I went to the game against Washington. That was the only one I could go to."
WeAreSC- I heard that you're pretty good friends with Justin Wyatt and LaJuan Ramsey. Do you ever talk to those guys about USC?
Rachal- "Yeah, of course. I was up there today, just hanging out with Justin and a couple football players."
WeAreSC- I know that you were at the linemen camp at USC. How did that go?
Rachal- "It was pretty good. Coach Davis taught me stuff I never knew before. It'll help me get better."
WeAreSC- What do you think your strengths are as an offensive lineman?
Rachal- "I'd say my run blocking. I want to beat my man for all four quarters, from whistle to whistle. Get the upper hand so he'll quit. Make my man quit."
WeAreSC- You were pretty impressive at the Nike Camp at USC. What was that experience like?
Rachal- "It was pretty cool, getting to compete with a lot of the top players. It was worth it. I think I did pretty good overall, except for my offense. But for not working out with offense at all that day and just trying to hop in, I think I did pretty well. I worked out with the defense all day. I just did that because I want to get better on defense so I can make plays on the field next season."
WeAreSC- Are any of the schools looking at you on the defensive side of the ball?
Rachal- "No, just as an offensive lineman. I prefer offense."
WeAreSC- Do you play any other sports at Dominguez?
Rachal- "Yeah, basketball. I play the four."
WeAreSC- Do you know your max on bench and squat?
Rachal- "No, I don't really know."
WeAreSC- What's your current height and weight?
Rachal- "Around 6'6" and I weigh 297."
WeAreSC- What are your plans for the rest of the off-season?
Rachal- "I'm going to the Nike Camp on May 6th, this Tuesday."
WeAreSC- Are you going to any team camps this summer?
Rachal- "Yeah, probably SC's. The overnight one."
WeAreSC- If the right offer comes along, do you think you might commit early?
Rachal- "Right now my mind is telling me if SC offers just commit and get it out of the way and don't worry about other colleges, but I don't want to just rush into it without seeing what else is out there. But if they offer me, I guarantee I most likely will commit."
