USC and the NFL: By the Numbers

A by-the-numbers look at the USC Trojans' "football factory."

The numbers don't lie. USC is a football factory.

And in light of the annual NFL draft, let's examine the Trojans' professional pipeline before the record books change once again.

Four-Hundred and Seventy-Three
The total number of players that have been drafted out of USC. The program leads the nation in amount of draft picks. Notre Dame is a close second with 467.

The number of first-round draft picks. Another best for USC; Ohio State comes close with 69 but the Trojans have still had the most players called early than any other school in the nation.

The number of times a Trojan has appeared in a Super Bowl. There have been 105 overall. USC has not been represented in just three Super Bowls.

Fourteen Trojans are in the Professional Football Hall of Fame, including 11 players and 3 former coaches.
