Tebow made his way to Troy to get a workout in and asked a few of the Trojans if they would be willing to help.
"He needed somebody to work out with," sophomore receiver Marqise Lee said. "He wanted someone to throw to and I was willing to come out here and throw with him."
"It was great to have an NFL player to throw you the ball," Lee added. "He's a great quarterback and I just enjoyed coming out here and working with somebody that needed help."
Tebow, a two-time NCAA National Champion and Heisman Trophy winner at Florida and arguably known more for his ability to win rather than his quarterback skills, was open and willing to pass on advice and tips to the Trojans who will make a run for a National Championship this season.
" (I was able to) just ask him a few questions, (about) transitions and how things work," Lee said. "He gave me the best advice he had. I just appreciate the fact that he can come to SC rather than going to Florida and he was here to actually throw and ask us to throw with him, I just appreciate it."
"He was just willing to work and I appreciate that, he had a great attitude," Lee said. "That's a great leader right there."
