To Be the Best

USC receiver Marqise Lee had a breakout season as a true freshman in 2011, earning the Pac-12 Freshman Offensive Co-Player of the Year award and making the All-Pac 12 second team. The sophomore is looking to raise the stakes in 2012.

USC head coach Lane Kiffin on Marqise Lee:
I know it sounds pretty strong, but I think he was dominating college football at the end of (last) year. When you look at what he did vs. UCLA, he just dominated the game. It was like a man playing amongst boys in that game. Barely touching 315, 325 yards in Eugene as a true freshman so that's really where that comes from. And he can handle it. I don't think you make statements like that if a kid has any question of his work ethic where you think it would go to his head. It doesn't. He's one of the hardest working guys I've ever seen out here.
