Reports: Tee Martin to stay

Reports: USC Receivers Coach Tee Martin turns down offer from Tennessee.

Reports from Tennessee Sports Radio (@TNSportsRadio) indicate USC Receivers Coach Tee Martin has turned down a job offer from Tennessee.

Martin flew to Knoxville, Tennessee on Monday to meet with the Vols new head coach Butch Jones about a position on his staff.

It would have been no major surprise if he had chosen to return to Knoxville, as Martin was the quarterback of Tennessee's 1998 undefeated National Championship team.

2012 was Martin's first season with the Trojans, in which he helped yield the school's first ever Biletnikoff Award winner in receiver Marqise Lee.

His decision to stay means USC will avoid changing coaches at the position for the fourth time in four years.
