Maloata, 'I grew up watching USC play'

FOX Sports NEXT caught up with newest USC commit Austin Maloata at Corona (Calif.) Centennial's coaches showcase. Maloata moved to the U.S. from Samoa just a month ago and in that short timespan earned an offer from the Trojans as well as gave them his commitment.

2014 Corona (Calif.) Centennial defensive lineman Austin Maloata has only been in the United States for a month but he's already making the most of his time.

Maloata enrolled at Centennial high school and already picked up an offer from USC -- he committed to the Trojans just a day later.

The 6-foot-3 248 pound recruit says it's always been a dream to play for USC since growing up in Samoa and watching other Samoan legends make their way through the Trojans' program.

Check out the video interview to hear more on Maloata's thoughts about USC, football in the U.S. compared to Samoa, and find out just how solid this commitment is...
