USC adds transfer to basketball team

USC picks up transfer from Charlotte, three years of eligibility remaining...

FOX Sports NEXT has confirmed Charlotte freshman Darion Clark will transfer to USC.

The 6-foot-6 233-pound forward played in 32 games for Charlotte (21-12) during the 2012-13 season, averaging over six points and four rebounds per game.

A Conyers (Ga.) native, Clark attended Mouth of Wilson (Va.) Oak Hill Academy. He was a three-star recruit in the class of 2012.

He will be forced to sit out (redshirt) the 2013-14 season due to transfer rules. He'll have three years of eligibility remaining.
