Stephen Zimmerman taking his time

Las Vegas (Nev.) Gorman center Stephen Zimmerman isn't thinking about college yet, but some schools are thinking about him.

Stephen Zimmerman still has another year to go in high school and he is taking his time during the recruitment process.

"I haven't really thought about college yet," said Zimmerman at Pangos All-American Camp. "I'm just taking my time now."

While Zimmerman may not be thinking about college yet, some colleges are definitely thinking about him, as his list of offers has continued to grow.

"Right now I have offers from UNLV, UCLA, Oregon, Oregon State, Kansas, Arizona, Florida State, Auburn, UTEP, Tennessee, Notre Dame and USC," said Zimmerman.

The 7-foot 215-pound big man from Las Vegas hasn't shown preference to any school yet, saying they are all on the same playing field for him.

"They're all pretty even," said Zimmerman. "My parents have been making sure I'm calling everybody equally right now."

The USC Trojans, under new head coach Andy Enfield, could use a big man under the hoop, but Zimmerman said he hasn't talked to any of the Trojans recruiting staff lately.

Zimmerman was named to the Top 30 all-star game at Pangos, though his only goal throughout game was to improve.

"Just to get better," said Zimmerman. "You know and make new friends and enemies too."

However, Zimmerman says he hasn't made too many enemies yet.

"I'm too nice right now," said Zimmerman.

FOX Sports NEXT recruiting analysts Evan Daniels and Josh Gershon both named Zimmerman the best performing center at Pangos.
