Johnson thought USC perfect fit for Reinhardt

FOX Sports NEXT spoke with 2014 Santa Ana (Calif.) Mater Dei small forward Stanley Johnson about the latest in his recruitment.

Santa Ana (Calif.) Mater Dei small forward Stanley Johnson hasn't been shy at Pangos All-American Camp when talking about his good friend and former Mater Dei teammate Katin Reinhardt transferring to USC.

Johnson is making it known he played a role in Reinhardt's choice by telling him about new USC head coach Andy Enfield.

As for Johnson's own recruitment? He says Reinhardt is now pulling for Johnson to join him as a Trojan, but he wants to make the best decision for himself.

Johnson says having his former teammate at USC will certainly give him something to think about.

The five-star recruit will take unofficial "official" visits to UCLA and USC -- meaning he will make a weekend of both trips like an official, but will pay his own way to the local schools.

Johnson is set to take officials to Kentucky, Arizona, Florida, and Oregon. He will now choose between Duke and Kansas for his fifth visit.
