2014 Denver (Colo.) Regis-Jesuit point guard Josh Perkins has over thirty offers including the Trojans.
USC's new staff is going all in for the talented five-star recruit. Perkins says head coach Andy Enfield's style of play is one he'd like to be a part of.
Perkins was planning to take an unofficial visit to USC following Pangos Sunday, he has never been to the Trojans' campus.
Perkins says Enfield himself and assistant couch Jason Hart are the two coaches on staff who have been recruiting him. "Enfield made it clear to me that he wants me. He came on an in-home visit, so he is trying to build that relationship," Perkins said. "[They've told me] my style of play fits and they need a point guard."
Although Enfield entered the picture late, Perkins says the Trojans' head coach is doing a good job making up ground, "He's doing a great job," he said.
Perkins was also sure to note that school size, basketball history, and "things like that" won't have much weight in his final decision.
