Holmes to camp at USC on Sunday

Mission Hills (Calif.) Alemany sophomore receiver Desean Holmes has offers on the table from both the Trojans and the Bruins and reveals which school he is leaning toward.

Crosstown rivals USC and UCLA have another thing to fight over: 2015 receiver Desean Holmes. Holmes has offers from both Southern California schools now and the Alemany sophomore is leaning toward the school in Westwood.

"I'm thinking more UCLA right now," said Holmes. "The corner coach [Demetrice Martin] and I are already pretty close."

Still, no decisions are final, as Holmes is still interested in USC and plans on going to USC's Camp Kiffin on Sunday to work out with the coaches.

Holmes said he found out about the offer from the Trojans during school about a month ago.

"My coach pulled me out of class and I was pretty excited," said Holmes.

Holmes also has offers from Washington and Nebraska and hopes to hear from Florida State and Cal soon.

"It's down to Florida State, USC and UCLA," said Holmes.

Holmes, who currently stands 5-foot-10 and 165-pounds hopes to reach 170-pounds by season, and says he's looking to "get stronger and get faster."
