Summertime 11on11 at USC

Video of 11on11 during USC's Friday morning throwing session, including notes on the quarterbacks and offensive line.

Friday's USC throwing session ended on a tough note when teammates watched freshman receiver Steven Mitchell tear ligaments in his knee during one-on-one drills for extra reps.

But before Mitchell went down, he put on an impressive display - even drawing cheers from his teammates with his moves after the catch on one play.

It looked to be a particularly frustrating day for quarterback Max Browne, and at times even Cody Kessler, as the two QBs had to throw the ball away multiple times and even take a few sacks -- at times because there were no available targets, other times because they were under pressure from the defensive line.

After reviewing the practice footage, this problem looks to be more often a function of the offensive line rather than the quarterbacks.
