Telfer says knee has "regressed"

USC tight end Randall Telfer says his rehab has taken a step back, as his knee has "regressed."

Redshirt junior Randall Telfer took one step forward, and then two steps back.

The tight end was back participating in summer workouts after tearing his meniscus during spring practice, but Telfer is now saying his knee has "regressed."

Telfer continued saying that his knee started acting up during USC's 7on7's and he is know back in rehab.

Telfer was originally told to just run straight and easy during routes at practice, but he now says he can't even do that. The tight end was on the field watching the workout on Friday morning, and left early to go meet with his physical therapist.

Telfer says there is no timeline on his recovery yet. He says he will be in full pads on day one of fall camp, but doesn't know if his knee will be up to speed.

Telfer's initial rehabilitation was extended from six to eight weeks at the start of summer, as the doctors were taking precautionary measures to make sure something like this didn't happen.
