Washington, a 6-foot-5 215-pound, is currently committed to LSU. "I'm pretty solid [to LSU]," Washington told FOX Sports NEXT at B2G camp on the campus of UCLA. "Until a school can show me something else, I'm solid with my commitment."
USC recruiting coordinator Ed Orgeron has been in charge of Washington's recruitment. "He's a cool cat," Washington said. "We've been talking on and off for a few months. We have a pretty good relationship."
Washington participated in only one day of Rising Stars, "I did really well," he said. "[Head coach Lane] Kiffin was impressed.
"[Kiffin] just told me that he wants whats best for me and he wanted me to get out for a recruiting trip and go from there."
Washington had a feeling coming into camp that if he did well, he'd leave with the offer. "I was kind of expecting it," he said.
Though he remains committed to the Tigers, Washington says he likes how USC throws the ball around and that's something he'll look into.
Washington says he's planning to come back to Los Angeles for an official visit. Other officials he plans to take include LSU and Miami.
The four-star recruit said he had the chance to check out USC's campus and thought it was "really nice" and a "great experience." He did note the blocks surrounding the outside of the Trojans' campus as a small concern.
