Dorsey continues to keep in touch with USC, the local program he says he now has his eye on to see how new head coach Andy Enfield leads a turnaround for the Trojans.
"There's a lot of people looking into [USC] now," Dorsey told FOX Sports NEXT at Pangos Sweet 16 in Long Beach (Calif.). "It's a good local school they are just trying to rebuild and just start Cali back up on the college level."
Dorsey says as he continues through the recruiting process he'll pay attention to who the Trojans pickup. "I'll look at who is coming there," he said. "How they are building for this upcoming season and next season and I just want to see the players they've got in."
Dorsey, who says he currently has eight offers, says USC is among the schools recruiting him hardest. As for narrowing his list to any favorites, the soon-to-be junior admits it's just too soon, "This is way too early for that," he said.
Once the July evaluation period is over, Dorsey says he is going to try to make it to Arizona to check out both Arizona and Arizona State. "I've been recruited by Arizona heavily," he explained. "They are probably the heaviest recruiting me and Arizona State, they are like next door and I like the coach over there."
