Davis has "head start" for Fall Camp

USC running back Justin Davis talks about the advantages of enrolling early, the leadership in the position group and adjusting to college football.

Justin Davis is off to a good start for his college career, as the freshman running back took reps with the 1s again on Tuesday during Day 4 of USC Fall Camp.

Davis says he feels he got a "head start" on Fall Camp by enrolling early and playing spring ball with the Trojans. During that time, Davis says he was able to study the playbook more carefully and adjust to the speed of college football.

As a freshman, Davis says he sees leadership coming from the older players in his position group, like Silas Redd and D.J. Morgan. According to Davis, they have both passed along a few key pieces of advice that have helped him adjust to Trojan football.

Listen in to what else Davis had to say, along with his answers to SCPlaybook's Rapid Fire questions.
