Martin still on Hale

2014 Bellflower (Calif.) St. John Bosco cornerback Naijiel Hale is committed to Arizona, but could a USC drastically alter his recruitment?

2014 Bellflower (Calif.) St. John Bosco cornerback Naijiel Hale committed to Arizona at The Opening in July.

He recently told that he'll not only be taking an official to Arizona, but he'll also check out Washington State and Utah.

After Hale's game Friday night, he told FOX Sports SCPlaybook that he's still being heavily pursued by USC and receivers coach Tee Martin and recruiting coordinator Ed Orgeron.

"I am in contact with him weekly," Hale explained. "He tells me that they are going to contact me and that I'm still his guy.

"Coach Orgeron hits me up on Facebook. He wants me to come out to games and congratulates me on small things he sees on the web."

The Trojans have yet to offer Hale, who says he's solid to Arizona.

Asked how a USC offer would change his recruitment, Hale said, "I don't know. I'm still solid to Arizona."

Hale took an unofficial visit to USC to see the Trojans host Washington State.
