Madden says victory more important than stats

USC running back Tre Madden was just shy of his fourth consecutive 100-yard game, but he says the win was all he cared about.

USC redshirt sophomore Tre Madden was on a roll. No. 23 ran for over 100 yards in the first three games of the Trojans season, but fell just 7 yards of that goal against Utah State.

Although Madden was unable to repeat that century club performance for a fourth consecutive game, he says all he cares about is the win.

"I know I didn't reach it, but we got the victory and that's all I care about," said Madden.

This week Madden says there are a few things he wants to work on before the Trojans hit the road to take on Arizona State on Saturday night.
