USC captains react to Kiffin's departure

USC captains Devon Kennard and Marcus Martin discuss their feelings about Kiffin's termination.

After removing Lane Kiffin from his post as head coach, USC athletic director Pat Haden held a press conference to discuss the situation. USC captains Devon Kennard and Marcus Martin shared their feelings about Kiffin's removal and the appoinment of Ed Orgeron as the interim head coach.

Both Martin and Kennard started by thanking Kiffin for everything he's done for the team. Both players heard the news via text early Sunday morning, and had a players meeting at 11 A.M. The Trojan captains said the meeting with Orgeron was "very positive," and they are looking forward to working with him more.

The Trojans have a week off to get in a rhythm with Orgeron and will show fans what the new cardinal and gold looks like in two weeks against Arizona.
