Two standout plays for Cravens

USC freshman makes goal line tackle and grabs an interception in his debut at Notre Dame Stadium...

He's only a freshman, but USC safety Su'a Cravens made two of the biggest plays of the night for the Trojans in their 14-10 loss at Notre Dame Stadium.

"We played our hearts out," Cravens said after the game. "That's all we can really say. "It just didn't come out the way we wanted it."

On their first possession Notre Dame made it to the USC one yard line on fourth down. The Irish went for it, handing the ball off to Cam McDaniel who was stuff for a loss of three yards by Cravens.

Then again in the fourth quarter, down 14-10, the freshman picked up a Notre Dame fumble, giving his team another chance on offense to take the lead.

Cravens finished with six tackles, two for a loss. He was credited with the forced fumble as well as the fumble recovery.
