Unit Reacap: Cornerbacks

See how the cornerbacks did as a unit group during the Trojans' 14-10 loss to Notre Dame.

While it really was the 11 penalties for 95 yards that handed USC their first loss under new interim heach coach Ed Orgeron, the 295 yards they gave up against Notre Dame didn't help either.

The return of Anthony Brown was not the spark the Trojans needed to fire the cornerbacks up. While Brown did rack up seven tackles against the Irish, his return was simply a flicker. Kevon Seymour only had one tackle and there were no numbers for Torin Harris.

With these lackluster stats, the corners will re-welcome back Josh Shaw. Shaw, who has been starting at safety, is now listed as a potential starter at corner. With seven tackles and half a sack against the Irish, hopefully he can provide a little more fire to light the corners up as they take on Utah this Saturday.
