Howard discusses homecoming

USC's new transer Pe'Shon Howard talks about the transition to Trojan basketball.

USC basketball season is just around the corner and the men's basketball team will debut a flock of fresh faces. One of these new players includes Maryland transfer Pe'Shon Howard.

Originally from Los Angeles, Howard says the homecoming has been a great opportunity for him to spend more time with his family. Plus, Howard says he's always loved cardinal and gold.

"It's a lot of pride. Being from Los Angeles I feel like I'm representing the city," said Howard.

Howard was the co-captain at Maryland last year and hopes to bring his leadership talents to Troy this season as well.

"I'm just trying to be positive, be a good role model and lead by example," said Howard.

The squad will host an open scrimmage Sunday afternoon, so be sure to check out the Trojans' newest talent at the Galen Center.
