Harberts talks "Score City" at USC

USC senior Cassie Harberts discusses the new nickname for women's basketball.

Since "Dunk City" was already taken, USC's new head women's basketball coach Cynthia Cooper-Dyke has named the Women of Troy "Score City," playing off of the interlocking SC logo.

Trojan senior Cassie Harberts said the name came about following the Trojans' basketball debut Sunday afternoon. While it was a spur of the momemnt name, Harberts said it shows the high-energy that the Women of Troy plan on bringing to the hardwood this season.

The women's squad will kick "Score City" off this Friday in an exhibition game against Westmont College at 7:00 P.M. at the Galen Center.
